Richard An­dersson Trio - Mulinn jazzclub

The Richard Andersson Trio brings together three highly respected musicians from the Danish and Icelandic jazz scenes. Danish bassist Richard Andersson has made a name for himself through a long list of acclaimed albums and international collaborations with artists such as Jerry Bergonzi, Jeff “Tain” Watts and Tony Malaby. Guitarist Per Møllehøj is one of Denmark’s most sought-after jazz musicians, known for his lyrical phrasing and deep understanding of the jazz tradition. He and Andersson have played together extensively in various constellations over the years. Icelandic drummer Matthias Hemstock adds a dynamic and inventive voice to the group. He has been a part of the band Richard Andersson NOR for more than a decade, and this marks the first time all three musicians perform together as a trio. The repertoire consists of original compositions and fresh takes on American jazz standards.
