An­drés Þór & Nico Mor­eaux Duet

Guitarist Andrés Þór and bassist Nico Moreaux bring a lyrical and intimate performance to the club, blending original compositions with carefully chosen jazz standards.Their collaboration features an acoustic soundscape where Andrés’s nylon-string, folk, and hollow-body guitars intertwine with Nico’s grounded and earthy double bass tone. The result is a rich and contemplative musical atmosphere — focused on clarity of harmony, warm tone, and subtle interplay. The duo have been long-time collaborators, performing together in Andrés’s trio, Nico’s Poney Moon ensemble, the Multiverse quartet led by drummer Scott McLemore, and numerous other projects. Their music draws on shared jazz traditions while exploring influences from folk, Americana, and contemporary impressionistic styles.
