Beloved Icelandic singer Ragga Gröndal brings her spellbinding voice to the stage of Múlinn Jazz Club, accompanied by an eight-piece ensemble of some of the country’s most accomplished jazz musicians. With a career that spans over two decades — across continents and genres — Ragga has long been a luminous presence in Iceland’s musical landscape. Her voice, both raw and refined, has graced stages throughout Europe and the United States, enchanting audiences with its depth and emotional honesty. For this special evening, Ragga delves into the timeless treasures of the American songbook, performing a curated selection of her favorite jazz standards. The music is reimagined in fresh and stirring arrangements by acclaimed saxophonist and composer Haukur Gröndal, who also leads the ensemble. This concert is more than a performance — it’s a reverent conversation between voice and song, past and present, soul and sound.
