Songs of Soaring Birds is a group of fifteen songs by Professor Þorvaldur Gylfason to poems by poet and philosopher Kristján Hreinsson. The songs are written for voice, piano and cello and have been arranged by composer Þórir Baldursson. The songs are an ode to life and to the beauty of the heavens.
