Ásgeir takes the stage at Eldborg on August 29 for a special concert celebrating the release of his latest album, Julia. Ásgeir will take the audience through his career, having released over 100 songs in both Icelandic and English over the past 14 years. Alongside performing his biggest hits, he will also perform songs from Julia and introduce new material from an upcoming Icelandic-language album. Don’t miss this unique evening where past, present, and future come together.

Julia, released on February 14, 2026, is Ásgeir’s most heartfelt work to date. For the first time, he wrote all the lyrics himself. The result is one of his most personal projects, with the shadow of the title character serving as a central theme throughout.

About Ásgeir It has been nearly fifteen years since Ásgeir Trausti first emerged on the music scene, and he has since remained at the forefront of Icelandic music. His debut album, Dýrð í dauðaþögn (2012), was a major success, selling over 40,000 copies and staying on the Icelandic charts for around 400 weeks. Today, it remains one of the best-selling albums in Icelandic history. Since then, Ásgeir has built a strong international career, performing concerts around the world.
