Next event

Saturday 22nd August - 16:00

Venue

Silfurberg

On Culture Night, visitors to Harpa will have the chance to encounter the Iceland Dance Company through unexpected and vibrant pop-up performances throughout the building.

At 16:00, Emilía Benedikta Gísladóttir and Shota Inoue will perform a beautiful and intimate duet from Where We Meet in Silfurberg.

At 17:30, the dance moves through the building. Beginning at Himnastiginn, the performers make their way down to Hörpuhorn, where dancers from the Iceland Dance Company fill the space with energy in a powerful excerpt from the same work.

Visitors can expect the movement to spread beyond the performers, perhaps even drawing a few people onto the dance floor.
