Candy Floss - Sunday Clas­sics

Candy Floss is the release concert for a colorful and vibrant new album for electric guitar. The program explores the electric guitar in its fullest form, transforming the instrument through layers of sound, effects, and extended techniques. The audience will experience a powerful sonic landscape where the guitar moves between intimacy and overwhelming intensity, as a solo instrument, together with tape, and through a wide range of textures and colors.

The program brings together minimalist works by Steve Reich, John Cage, and Bryce Dessner alongside new contemporary pieces by Finnur Karlsson, Nick Martin, and Francesco Rista.

Expect a massive and immersive audio experience, a journey through bright colors, dense sound worlds, and the endless possibilities of the electric guitar.
