Björtuloft

The Icelandic jazz-rock band Gammar has long been a prominent force in the Icelandic music scene. The band has carved out a clear position in jazz-rock and has released four albums of original material composed by its members. Gammar has performed widely, both in Iceland and abroad, including in Sweden, Scotland, and other parts of Europe. The band consists of musicians with decades of experience. Since its formation, three members have been constant: guitarist Björn Thoroddsen, saxophonist Stefán S. Stefánsson, and pianist and organist Þórir Baldursson. They are joined by Bjarni Sveinbjörnsson on bass and Sigfús Óttarsson on drums.
