The Icelandic Rock Choir and the Reykjavik Police Choir, together with the powerful rock vocalist Stebbi Jak (from Dimma) will present a concert entitled Magnús – Með lögum skal land byggja on the 20th of May 2026 in Harpa's Silfurberg hall. The concert is held in honor of the beloved Icelandic music legends Magnús Eiríksson, Magnús Kjartansson and Magnús Þór Sigmundsson, whose music will be performed in an unconventional, rock-inspired style, under the lead of Matthías V. Baldursson.

The program will include many of the treasured works these artists have contributed to Icelandic music, celebrating their lasting impact on the nation’s musical heritage. The band for the evening consists of a handpicked group of musicians led by Sigurgeir Sigmundsson, who also plays guitar. Joining him are Skálmöld members Jón Geir Jóhannsson on drums and Þráinn Árni Baldvinsson on guitar. Heavyweight musicians Eiður Arnarsson on bass and Birgir Þórisson on keyboards will anchor the rhythm and sound of the evening. The concert will be hosted by Ólafur Páll Gunnarsson, who will both educate and entertain the audience with his renowned knowledge of rock history.
