Jón Jóns­son - 40 ára

Life begins at forty, and Jón Jónsson intends to prove it with a grand concert in Harpa's Eldborg Hall on Saturday evening, November 1. Two days before, Jón will celebrate his 40th birthday, which is certainly a reason for a real concert party with hismusic friends and loyal fans. 

"I simply want to celebrate my birthday in a fitting way. Standing on stage and playing songs with my friends, telling different and taking the audience with me on a sincere journey is the most fun I do, and so I couldn't be more excited for this evening." 

Jón will be joined on stage by excellent musicians, and together they will play well-chosen JJ songs. Jón has also been diligent in collaborating with other artists recently, so you never know when some guests will take the stage. 

"In my mind, concerts are a team sport where our interaction on stage and with the audience can create memorable moments. Those who have attended JJ concerts over the years have never disappointed and something tells me that this moment will be historically good in terms of atmosphere."
